Sattu Paratha

Sattu Paratha

INGREDIENTS
4 tsp cooking oil (groundnut, coconut, gingelly, palm olein, mustard etc)
½ tsp fresh ginger
¼ tsp ajwain
¼ tsp Nigella seeds
55 ml water
¼ tsp black salt
½ tsp salt
1 green chilli
2 sprigs coriander leaves
1 cup wheat flour
½ cup sattu
½ tsp mustard oil
½ tsp achar masala
3 tsp water
STEPS
1.Mix wheat flour, 1 tsp oil, salt, ajwain, and knead into soft dough by adding water.
2.Allow it to rest covered for 15-20 minutes and make equal size small balls.
3.Take sattu, finely chopped green chilli, coriander leaves, ginger, nigella seeds, achar masala and black salt in a bowl.
4.Add 3 tsp water, mix well and divide into equal portions.
5.Take dough ball, roll into small circle and place the sattu stuffing in the centre.
6.Seal it by gathering the edges to the centre and flatten it.
7.Sprinkle some flour, roll out round parantha and place it on hot tawa.
8.Once the base is partially cooked, drizzle few drops of oil and flip it.
9.Cook for 2-3 minutes on both the sides until cooked well and brown spots appear.
10. Repeat same with remaining dough and serve hot.
